
ALTON - Marquette Catholic boys tennis notched another big triumph over Hillsboro 9-0 on Monday, April 13, 2026, at Gordon Moore Park. Hubert Allen’s No. 1 singles win over Hillsboro’s Mark Mattson, 6-3, 6-4, was rated as one of the biggest Explorers' victories of the day.
The Explorers squad has been sensational throughout the 2026 season to date.

No. 5 singles - William Waters defeated Chanse Liebscher 6-0, 6-0.
No. 6 singles - Chase Pruitt defeated Joe Lanter 6-1, 7-5.

Marquette Dominates Bunker Hill
In a match this past Thursday, Marquette Catholic won seven of nine matches against Bunker Hill.
Carson Dugger posted the only win for Bunker Hill over Oliver Stevenson, 7-5, 6-4 at No. 1 singles.
At No. 2 singles, Logan Anderson beat Ben Manar 6-0, 6-2.
At No. 3, William Waters defeated Caleb Greeling 6-4, 6-2.
At No. 4, Chase Pruitt won over Eli Huber 6-2, 6-2.
At No. 5 - Daniel Bennett won 6-1, 6-0 over Elijah Combs.
At No. 6 - James Fischer beat Sam Devall 6-0, 6-0.
Stevenson-Anderson teamed for a win at No. 1 doubles, while Carson-Dugger-Ben Manar of Bunker Hill won at No. 2 doubles, and Waters-Hough won at No. 3 doubles.
