

The Explorers made their debut at the Chaminade All-Catholic Invitational, with the girls placing fifth overall and the boys finishing eighth against Catholic schools from Illinois and Missouri.

In the girls' competition, the Explorers' Jami Jones won the shot put with a personal-record throw of 10.79 meters. Karly Davenport finished second in the 100-meter dash in 13.48 seconds and placed fourth in both the 200 and the triple jump.
Marquette’s girls 4x100 relay team of Eliza Boatman, Lilly Hannigan, Bailyn Allen, and Karly Davenport took second in 52.97.
Marquette's Boatman also tied her personal record in the long jump at 4.68 meters to place second, and added a third-place finish in the 300 hurdles and fourth-place finishes in the 100 hurdles.
The Explorers' Ari Davenport placed third in the high jump after clearing 1.43 meters.
In the boys' competition, Jack Beaber won both throwing events, taking first in the shot put at 15.15 meters and first in the discus at 47.62 meters. Grady Dierking posted a personal record and finished third in the discus at 35.28 meters.
The boys' 4x100 relay team of Noah Mischeaux, Braden Nash, Elijah Heru and Cameron Golike finished fourth.
