The ISP Communication Centers cover 102 counties and answer an average of 650,000 calls statewide every year. ISP’s TCs serve as the crucial first link in the chain of emergency response, connecting individuals in crisis with first responders arriving on scene. ISP currently employs 117 TC personnel throughout the state.

From November 2025 through February 2026, 30 TCs successfully completed ISP’s intensive training program, delivered across six ISP Communication Centers. The rigorous 6-12-month curriculum includes both classroom instruction and hands-on, scenario based training.

In addition to the 30 recent graduates, ISP recognized nine telecommunicators who have been promoted to Lead Workers, Supervisors, and Regional Managers over the same timeframe.

In recognition of the extensive telecommunications training and the commitment to excellence, ISP will hold an annual ceremony to celebrate its new graduates and honor those who have been promoted.
