
GREENFIELD — Solo home runs by Brennan Fulton and Nick Rull gave Bunker Hill early, and midgame boosts, but the Minutemen could not hold off a late push in a 3-2 loss to Greenfield/Northwestern at Greenfield on Friday, April 17, 2026.

The game was tied 2-2 in the bottom of the sixth when Rimbey White grounded out, bringing home the go-ahead run.
Bunker Hill scored first in the opening inning on Fulton’s solo homer to left field. Greenfield/Northwestern answered in the bottom of the first, taking a 2-1 lead after Hudson Duncheon doubled down the right-field line and Logan Ross grounded into a fielder’s choice, with each play driving in a run.
Rull tied the game in the top of the fourth with a solo home run to center field.
Both teams’ pitchers recorded high strikeout totals. Greenfield/Northwestern pitchers struck out nine, while Bunker Hill struck out eight.
Fulton started for Bunker Hill and allowed four hits and three runs, two earned, over six innings. He struck out eight and did not issue a walk. Kayden Roberts started for Greenfield/Northwestern and allowed four hits and two runs over 4 1/3 innings, striking out six and walking one. Rull led Bunker Hill with two hits in three at-bats. Duncheon had two hits in three at-bats for Greenfield/Northwestern.
Bunker Hill’s next game is Thursday, April 23, at home against Springfield Lutheran in a makeup game from April 16.
