GRANITE CITY — Jersey Community High School’s boys track and field team turned in a strong performance Friday, April 17, 2026, placing sixth with 65 points in a highly competitive 12-team field at the Granite City Invite under head coach Toni Goetten.
Champaign Centennial won the meet with 128 points. Jersey’s junior varsity scored five points in one event.

Coach Goetten has produced one of Jersey's more talented boys' track and field teams in many years in the 2026 indoor and outdoor seasons.
Jersey’s Cameron Judkins won both the 100 meters and 200 meters. He blazed to an 11.48 win in the 100 meters and 22.81 in the 200 meters.
Bradley Tueth was also a shining star and placed fourth in the 100 and won the 400. He set a new Jersey school record in the 400 meters with a time of 48.86 seconds.
Colby Goetten finished second in the pole vault, clearing 3.81 meters (12-foot-6 inches). Jersey also posted a fifth-place finish in the 4x400 relay with Frankie Kennedy, Matthew Bishop, Tueth, and Judkins. The freshman-sophomore 4x400 relay team of David Vogel, Goetten, Quincy Desherlia and Caison Dobson placed fourth.
Other Jersey finishers included Aden Brunaugh, fifth in the 300 hurdles; Dylan Burch, sixth in the high jump; Kris Turnbaugh, sixth in the 800; Bishop, seventh in the 800; Zane Grummel, eighth in the 1,600; and Connor Talley, eighth in the shot put.
