Midwest Members Credit Union Sponsors February 2026 “Oiler of the Month”

WOOD RIVER – Midwest Members Credit Union is proud to sponsor the “Oiler of the Month” program at EAWR High School.

A Senior student is selected each month by members of EAWR faculty. Each student is awarded a certificate and a Subway gift card. The Seniors selected each month will have the opportunity to compete for a $1,000 “Oiler of the Year” scholarship at the end of the school year.

February's winner is Julie Pitts. Julie is a Senior at EAWR and is involved in Track & Field, Cross Country, Scholar Bowl, Volleyball, and Band. Julie has received honors in the Illinois State Scholar, Silver Medallion, Fischer Lumber Student of the Month, Riverbend East Rotary Club Service Over Self Award, Musician of the Year, National Honor Society, Gold Level Renaissance, and Girl Cross Country Runner of the Year 2024.

After graduation, Julie is planning on attending Southern Illinois University of Carbondale and major in Zoology.
