Midwest Members Credit Union Sponsors April 2026 “Oilers of the Month”

WOOD RIVER – Midwest Members Credit Union is proud to sponsor the “Oiler of the Month” program at EAWR High School. A Senior student is selected each month by members of EAWR faculty. Each student is awarded a certificate and a Subway gift card.

The Seniors selected each month will have the opportunity to compete for a $1,000 “Oiler of the Year” scholarship at the end of the school year.

April has two winners: Hailey Handler & Adyson Bunt. Hailey is a Senior at EAWR and is involved in NHS, Big Sisters, Student Council, Senior Mentors, Youth Advisory Council, ACES, Spirit Club, Youth Alive, Teen Mental Health Club, Drama Club and Youth Group. Hailey has received honors in the National Honor Society, MVP for tennis, High Honor Roll, Renaissance, Silver Medallion, Illinois Scholars and Athlete of the Month. In Hailey's spare time, Hailey volunteers at Children's Church, Basketball Camps, Concession Stand, Sleep in Heavenly Peace, Churches on the Street, Breakfast with Santa, Bake Sale & Egg Hunts for Big Sisters.

After graduation, Hailey is planning on attending SIUE to study Psychology.

Adyson is a Senior at EAWR and is involved in RBGA Young Adult Committee, Varsity Football Cheer, Varsity BBall, Comp Cheer, Big Sisters, NHS, and Senior Mentor. Adyson has received honors in the National Honor Society and Silver Medallion. In Adyson's spare time, she volunteers at non-profit organizations through the RBGA and helps cheer coaching through the middle school.

After graduation, Adyson is planning on attending Lewis & Clark Community College to study Nursing.
