Marquette Baseball Falls to Christ Our Rock in Close Game; Softball Girls Club 15 Hits, But Also Lose To Christ Our Rock

CENTRALIA - Marquette Catholic's baseball team and girls softball squad both lost competitive encounters with Christ Our Rock School on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, on the road.

The baseball squad lost 5-3. Keller Jacobs, Robert Roentz, Carson Bauer, and Chris Hankins each had hits.

Christ Our Rock topped Marquette's girls' softball team 19-9.

Jayla Dickson continued her hot streak with four hits. Nylah McDonald and Bella Johnson added to Marquette's strong attack at the plate, with three hits each; Allie Weiner and Emmie Hough had two hits. Olivia Corn and Lucy LeFlore also had one hit for the Explorers.

Marquette's girls play at Collinsville at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Marquette's baseball team hosts Christ Our Rock on Thursday.
