It should be a smooth start for the morning commute, and while it may feel like 62, most of the day stays close to the actual reading. As the morning moves along, skies turn partly sunny and the south wind picks up.

By afternoon, the Riverbend warms up fast. Expect a high near 83 with a breezy south wind around 15 mph and gusts up to 33 mph. Rain chances stay low through the daylight hours, so most of the day looks dry and very warm for late April. If you deal with seasonal allergies, tree pollen is the big issue Thursday, with a very high allergy index for tree pollen and low levels for grass and mold.

Thursday evening stays breezy and warm with increasing clouds. After that, the weather turns more active overnight. Periods of rain and a thunderstorm are likely late, with an 86% chance of rain as temperatures slide to a low around 63 by daybreak Friday. Some spots could pick up moderate rainfall before sunrise.

Friday looks cooler and cloudier, with a high near 73 and a low around 48. A shower may linger early, and another thunderstorm could pop up late in the afternoon before skies clear Friday night.
