

HARDIN - Calhoun County Sheriff Zach Hardin arrested a 37-year-old Louisiana, Mo., woman on multiple drug- and driving-related charges after a traffic stop Tuesday afternoon near the Joe Page Bridge in East Hardin, according to the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office.

The stop occurred March 31, 2026, at about 1:43 p.m. on Illinois Highway 100, the sheriff’s office said.
Following the stop and a subsequent investigation, Chelsi N. Griffin was arrested on charges of:
• Aggravated DUI,
• DUI - Drugs,
• Possession of Controlled Substance – Fentanyl,
• Possession of Controlled Substance – Crack Cocaine,
• Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia,
Griffin was arrested without incident and transported to the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office, where she was booked and released with a notice to appear at the Calhoun County Courthouse in Hardin, the sheriff’s office said.
“All suspect(s) are innocent until proven guilty,” the sheriff’s office said.
