After years of short-term extensions, this legislation locks in key priorities and provides the long-term stability that farmers, producers, and rural communities across Illinois’ 15th District depend on.

“Today, I proudly voted to advance a Farm Bill that delivers the certainty farmers, producers, and rural communities across IL-15 deserve,” said Congresswoman Mary Miller. “Our agriculture community is the backbone of our economy, and this legislation ensures they have the tools to manage risk, stay competitive, and continue feeding and fueling not only our nation, but the world.”

The Farm, Food, and National Security Act of 2026 reauthorizes critical USDA programs while modernizing farm policy to meet the challenges facing producers. This legislation strengthens risk management tools for farmers and ranchers, invests in the long-term vitality of rural communities, and takes decisive steps to safeguard American agricultural land from foreign adversaries.
