JERSEYVILLE — On a night set aside to recognize the end of a season and a high school chapter, Jersey Community High School’s senior boys track athletes closed their final home meet against Carlinville.
Jersey’s seniors competed in their final meet at Jersey on Tuesday night, April 28, 2026, in Jerseyville.
The Jersey seniors recognized were Kyler Bick, Matthew Bishop, Dylan Burch, Nolan Craigmiles, Cameron Judkins, Brandon Kennedy, Griffin Smith, Connor Talley, and Kris Turnbaugh.
“Congratulations to all of these seniors and their families on this special night,” the Jersey boys track coaching staff said after the meet.
The group of boys has been named Sparklight Male Athletes of the Month for the Panthers.
In the meet against Carlinville, Judkins won the 100 meters in 11.1 seconds. Craigmiles was third in the 200 with a time of 25.9 seconds.
Turnbaugh took second in the 800 in 2:12. Talley placed second in the shot put at 13.42 meters, and Kennedy was fifth in the discus at 27.06 meters.
Burch finished second in the high jump at 1.75 meters and won the triple jump with a mark of 10.29 meters.
