Thursday starts sunny and quiet, with temperatures in the low 40s early and a light northwest breeze. It is a jacket kind of morning, but the air will feel a little better than the thermometer suggests. Skies stay bright as the morning moves along, with a mix of sun and a few clouds settling in.

By afternoon, temperatures climb to a high near 67 with a partly sunny sky. A west-southwest wind around 10 mph will pick up at times, with gusts as high as 24 mph. Rain is not expected, with only a small chance of a stray shower. Tree pollen is moderate today, while grass, mold and ragweed levels are low.

The evening stays calm and comfortable as temperatures ease back through the 60s and 50s under partly cloudy skies. Winds back off after sunset, making for a pleasant end to the day if you are heading out.
