Everage’s parents are Blaine and Angel Everage.
During her time at Alton High School, Everage enrolled in 19 dual credit, Advanced Placement, and honors courses, earning a 4.39 GPA. The Alton-Godfrey Rotary Club said her work in those courses helped her develop skills, including time management, discipline, and perseverance.
Community service is “a significant part of who Heaven is,” according to the Alton-Godfrey Rotary Club, and Everage plans to continue serving others by attending North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in Greensboro, North Carolina, where she will major in nursing. She aspires to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and become a registered nurse.
In her acceptance remarks, Everage said, “I will make sure to come back and support my community just as they supported me.”
