Outside of school, Roberts and a friend run FullScope Outdoor Services, a lawn care and pressure washing business. He also helps with the JCHS tennis camps and assists with other community service activities.
In his spare time, Roberts can usually be found playing tennis, golf, basketball, swimming, running, or working out. He added: “I try my best to stay active during the summer to make sure I am in shape for my sports.”
“Being Michael's tennis coach has been a true pleasure,” Tennis Coach Dan Diamond said. “He is a role-model for our younger players, and his competitive spirit never gets in the way of his belief in sportsmanship.”
Science Teacher Jayne Binolis spoke highly of Roberts’s leadership by example and positive impact on others.
“Michael demonstrates leadership in everything he does,” Binolis said. “I love how he builds peer consciousness and keeps the energy level up.”
After graduation, Roberts said he plans on attending a four-year university to major in Accounting/Finance.
