
GLEN CARBON - Father McGivney Catholic High School in Glen Carbon will host the IHSA Baseball State Series regional IHSA first round beginning Monday, May 25, with postseason games scheduled throughout the week at the school’s baseball fields behind the campus.

The school announced the regional schedule and event details for games at 7190 Bouse Road, where Father McGivney is set to begin its postseason run on Wednesday, May 27.
The opening game is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. Monday, May 25, featuring No. 10 Belleville Althoff Catholic against No. 7 Breese Mater Dei.
Father McGivney, the No. 2 seed, is scheduled to play at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 27, against the winner of the opening game.
Another regional matchup is set for 4:30 p.m. Thursday, May 28, when No. 4 Breese Central will face No. 6 Greenville.
The championship game is scheduled for noon Saturday, May 30, between the winner of the May 27 game and the winner of the May 28 game.
Admission is listed at $7.30 for digital tickets through GoFan and $8 cash at the gate.
Parking will be available in the front lot, rear lot and gravel lot connected to the front lot. Team buses are directed to drop off at the baseball field and then park in the front or gravel lot.
