CHARLESTON - The Jersey Community High School girls' track and field team competed May 22, 2026, at the IHSA State 2A Meet, where the Panthers’ 4x200-meter relay team placed 20th overall with a time of 1:46.09. The Panthers' high jump standout, Morgan Allen, also advanced to the state finals on Saturday with an outstanding performance.
The Jersey girls are Sparklight Female Athletes of the Month for their state track performances.

The Panthers' 4 x 200 relay team — Madisyn Burch, Amelia Jumper, Morgan Allen, and Belle Peuterbaugh set a new school record in the event with their state time.
Morgan Allen advanced to Day 2 in the high jump after clearing 1.55 meters, or 5 feet, 1 inch.
