Thursday starts with areas of fog and mostly cloudy skies, so the morning commute may come with a few low-visibility spots. Temperatures begin in the mid-60s, but it already feels like 69 degrees in some places. Winds stay light early, then turn east-northeast at about 9 mph with gusts up to 22 mph as the day gets going.

By afternoon, the fog gives way to a warmer setup with breaks of sunshine. The high reaches about 85. Rain is not expected, with only a 1% chance during the day, so it looks like a dry stretch for lunch plans, ballgames or a walk outside. It may feel closer to 89 during the warmest part of the afternoon.
