JERSEYVILLE - “Rock the Block” is returning to Jerseyville.

The City of Jerseyville will host “Rock the Block” free concerts this summer at City Center Plaza, located between Germania and Dairy Queen. On Friday, May 29, 2026, the Nashville artist Jake Maurer and his band will take the stage from 7–10 p.m. for a rocking country night to kick off the season.

Community members are encouraged to come out and join in the fun. The Knights of Columbus will serve food and drinks at their Hall throughout the night, or families can stop by several local restaurants in Jerseyville to eat before the show.

The Jerseyville splash pad, located nearby, is also open until 8:30 p.m. that night. Kids of all ages can enjoy the experience.

Jerseyville residents and guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and relax for a fun summer evening with a hometown environment.
