Lane Closures On Illinois 203 At Branding Drive Begin June 8

Intermittent restrictions between Branding Drive and the Interstate 270 ramps in Madison County are expected to last until mid-August.

GRANITE CITY – The Illinois Department of Transportation announced today that intermittent lane closures will be in place on Illinois 203 between Branding Drive and the Interstate 270 ramps in Madison County beginning Monday, June 8, 2026, weather permitting. One lane will remain open in each direction.

The closures are necessary for pavement patching.

The project is expected to be completed by mid-August.
