Four East Alton-Wood River District 14 Students Recognized at Local Awards Ceremony

Four District 14 students were recognized through the Riverbend Growth Association Young Adults Committee.

EAST ALTON-WOOD RIVER - Representatives from East Alton-Wood River Community High School District 14’s Riverbend Growth Association Young Adults Committee were recognized recently at the Chamber Choice Awards, where three students also received scholarships.

East Alton-Wood River students Eva Steiniger, Landon Bomkamp, Adyson Bunt, and Jace Burns were recognized at the event, East Alton-Wood River CHSD 14 said.

John Barnerd was also thanked as the students’ mentor.

Landon Bomkamp received a $500 scholarship, Adyson Bunt received a $750 scholarship, and Jace Burns received a $1,000 scholarship. Bomkamp and Bunt were seniors, while Burns and Steiniger were juniors at the event.
