The Edwardsville Police will join the Illinois State Police and more than 200 statewide agencies for the effort, which is carried out in addition to the department’s daily operations and enforcement.

Celebrate safely:

  • Designate a sober driver before you go out.
  • If impaired, use a taxi, ride-share, or call a sober friend.
  • Report impaired drivers by dialing 911.
  • Buckle up — it's the law and your best defense against an impaired driver.

The "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over," "Drive High Get a DUI," and "Click It or Ticket" campaigns are funded by federal traffic safety funds administered by the Illinois Department of Transportation.
