"We're asking for your cooperation. If you are driving, don't drink or use impairing substances. Our officers will be working to prevent impaired driving and ensure all occupants are buckled up," said Lt. Matt Senci.
The Edwardsville Police will join the Illinois State Police and more than 200 statewide agencies for the effort, which is carried out in addition to the department’s daily operations and enforcement.
