GODFREY - An evening of puzzle-solving and fundraising is set for Thursday, June 25, 2026, in Godfrey, where teams will compete in a 500-piece jigsaw contest to benefit Operation Blessing.
The Jigsaw Puzzle Competition will run from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Godfrey KC Hall, 1713 Stamper Lane. Doors open at 6 p.m.

Organizers are inviting friends, families, coworkers and “puzzle aces” to take part in the event, which will feature teams racing to complete the same puzzle for a cash prize. Team tables may include up to six people, with at least one adult per table.
Along with the puzzle competition, the event will include a 50-50 no-guilt raffle and raffle baskets. Participants may bring their own snacks, and free non-alcoholic beverages will be provided. A cash bar also will be available.
The fundraiser will support Operation Blessing, a Wood River organization that, since 1982, has provided food, clothing and personal items for families in local communities. According to the event information, donations are an important part of Operation
