The annual event brings together supporters from throughout the region to celebrate America and reflect on the progress being made for Metro East families.
"When I first ran for office, I promised to be a strong voice for the Metro East and that's exactly what I've worked to do every day," said Senator Harriss. "We've made important progress, but there's still more work to be done. I'm looking forward to spending this evening with friends and supporters, celebrating our country, and talking about the future of our communities and our state."

She has worked to bring local voices into the conversation in Springfield while fighting for safer communities, greater economic opportunity, government accountability, and policies that help working families.
