Sunny, Hot and Humid Conditions Set In Tuesday

Tuesday starts sunny and quiet, with temperatures around 70 and a light north wind. It already feels a little warmer, closer to 75, so the morning has a mild but sticky feel as the sun gets to work.

By afternoon, expect mostly sunny skies and building humidity. Temperatures climb to a high near 90, and with the extra moisture in the air, it will feel closer to 100. A light breeze out of the northeast around 7 mph may gust to about 17 mph at times, but it will not do much to cut the heat. Rain chances stay low at 25%.

The evening stays calm and warm with clear skies as temperatures ease back from the daytime peak. Humidity hangs on after sunset, so it will still feel muggy if you are heading out.

Overnight, the sky stays clear and the temperature settles near the low of 69. Winds turn light, and rain chances drop to just 2%, making for a quiet night.
