New Internal Medicine Physician Strengthens Adult Primary Care In O’Fallon

O’FALLON, Ill. – HSHS Medical Group welcomes Veronica Contasti, MD, an internal medicine physician, to HSHS Medical Group Family Medicine - O’Fallon at 1512 N. Green Mount Road. Dr. Contasti provides adult primary care with a focus on prevention, routine care and support for ongoing health needs.

Patients can see her for wellness visits, health screenings, new health concerns and chronic condition management, including support for high blood pressure and diabetes. Her care approach focuses on listening, clear communication and practical guidance. Dr. Contasti works with patients to help them understand their health, ask questions and feel involved in care decisions.

Her goal is to build trust with each patient and provide care that supports long-term health and everyday well-being. Dr. Contasti earned her Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Universidad de Carabobo in Valencia, Venezuela. She completed an internal medicine residency through Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York and is a member of the American College of Physicians.

Her addition helps expand access to internal medicine and adult primary care for patients in O’Fallon and the surrounding communities.
