Hot, Humid Tuesday Brings 95-Degree High and Storm Chance

Tuesday starts warm and sticky with mostly sunny skies and temperatures in the mid-70s. It already feels like the low 80s early, so the day gets a head start on the heat.

By afternoon, temperatures climb to a high near 95 with a mix of sun and clouds. It will feel closer to 103 at times, and a spotty thunderstorm could pop up with a 55% chance of rain. An Extreme Heat Warning remains in effect through Wednesday evening, so this is a good day to take breaks, drink water and limit time outside during the hottest part of the day.

Overnight, the air does not cool much. Expect a low around 74 under partly cloudy skies, and it will still feel a little muggy by daybreak.

Wednesday brings another hot and humid day, with a high near 91 and a low around 75. There is another 55% chance of thunderstorms, and the heat will still be a factor even with a slightly lower temperature.
