Edwardsville DARE Show Offers Family Friendly Sunday Outing, Aug. 16, 2026

Cars, trucks and motorcycles will fill Edwardsville High School for a community fundraiser supporting the D.A.R.E. program. Spectators can attend free during the Sunday event.

EDWARDSVILLE — Cars, trucks and motorcycles will be on display from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 16, 2026, at Edwardsville High School, 6161 Center Grove Road, for the Edwardsville D.A.R.E. Car-Truck-Motorcycle Show, a fundraiser for the D.A.R.E. program.

The event is free for spectators. Vehicle owners who want to display a vehicle will pay $10, while those competing for car show honors will pay $15. Vehicle registration will run from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Spectators and participant trailers should use the sports complex parking area across from the main campus. Shuttles will be provided to transport attendees to and from the show. The main entrance to the high school lot will be blocked, and show participants can use the entrance east of the high school. Car show parking will not be available at the R.P. Lumber Center.

The high school will be open as a cooling center and for bathroom use. Smoking is not allowed on campus.

Food and beverage trucks scheduled for the event include Dirty Sodas, Find My Ambition Coffee, Pig on a Wing, Polar Paradise Sno Cones, Rolling Dogs, Takozz and Washington Kettle Corn. No ATMs will be available on site.

Raffle baskets also will be available, with winning tickets drawn the day of the show. Winners do not have to be present to win. Soda and water will be available for purchase.

Participants are asked to take note of their parking spot upon arrival. Canopy tents are welcome but may need to be moved if show spots fill up.
