Got Faith? Partners with Raging Rivers to Host 500 Men Breakfast

GRAFTON - Got Faith? has partnered with Raging Rivers WaterPark to host their annual 500 Men Breakfast.

At 8 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 15, 2026, community members can enjoy a free breakfast at Raging Rivers sponsored by Got Faith?. There will be live music by local band Common Ground and performer Tim Ezell.

Steve Pegram, founder of Got Faith?, can’t wait to share the experience with the community. The goal, he explained, is to simply bring people together. Anyone is welcome to enjoy the 500 Men Breakfast.

Raging Rivers opens at 10 a.m. on Aug. 15. Anyone wearing a Got Faith? t-shirt will receive $10 off their admission price.

Common Ground is made up of three musicians who regularly enjoy “jam sessions” at a Jerseyville bar. While not a formal band, the musicians are eager to play Christian music and open for Ezell. Pegram is excited to showcase their talents.

“This is neat for us,” he said. “We always have a band opening before Tim Ezell gets there. The band this year is called Common Ground, and where this band came from, I made up the name.”

Because they are not a formal band, Pegram was tasked with coming up with a name. The musicians look forward to playing at Raging Rivers.

Pegram added that the jam sessions regularly generate tip money that they donate to Got Faith?; the musicians have donated over $12,000 over the past few years.

Tim Ezell will play from 9–9:45 a.m. Pegram has a close relationship with Ezell and admires him as a friend and performer.

A few years ago, a man confessed to Pegram that he thought he was an alcoholic. Pegram introduced him to Ezell, who is open about his struggles with alcoholism, and Ezell gave the man his cell phone number. This, Pegram believes, speaks to the kind of person Ezell is. Pegram is excited to welcome him to the breakfast event.

Pegram thanked Raging Rivers WaterPark for accommodating Got Faith? and the event. Eve, a spokesperson for Raging Rivers, expressed her excitement to welcome the community.

“Just show up. Come on in,” she said. “We have breakfast for everybody and Tim will be speaking. We’re looking forward to it. It is a free event, and if you wear your Got Faith? t-shirt to the pool that day, you get $10 off admission.”

Eve added that there are several expansions happening at Raging Rivers this year. Riverland RV Park and Resort is the waterpark’s newest addition, with a mini golf course, yard games, camping, 63 RV spots and more. Additional information will be provided at the 500 Men Breakfast.

Pegram will also talk about Got Faith?, a ministry he started to help those in need in Jersey County. The organization has a building in Jerseyville that houses a food pantry, clothes closet, and weekly programming. The 500 Men Breakfast is one of their annual events that aim to bring people together.
