Lane Closures Scheduled On Illinois 100 In Calhoun County

Daytime lane closures between Hardin and Kampsville are set to begin at 7 a.m. Aug. 31 for resurfacing work expected to continue through November.

HARDIN – The Illinois Department of Transportation announced that intermittent daytime lane closures will take place on Illinois 100 between Illinois 16 in Hardin and Illinois 96 in Kampsville beginning at 7 a.m. Monday, Aug. 31, weather permitting, for pavement resurfacing.

Flaggers will maintain two-way traffic. Work on the portion between Hardin and Kampsville is expected to be completed by the end of November. The remaining portion of the project is scheduled to begin and be completed in spring 2027.

Drivers are urged to reduce speed, be alert for changing conditions, obey all construction signage and refrain from using mobile devices while approaching and traveling through the work zone.
