CIVIC MEMORIAL 2, PARKWAY NORTH 0: At Glazebrook Park in Godfrey, Reed Wallace's brace (two goals) was enough for CM to win over Parkway North of Creve Coeur, Mo.

In a match played at Rockwood Lafayette in Ballwin, Mo., Eureka defeated Edwardsville 1-0.

BOYS SOCCER
In the only two games involving area teams on Friday, Columbia won over Metamora 2-0 in a tournament at Peoria Christian High School, and Springfield defeated Trenton Wesclin 4-0.
GIRLS FIELD HOCKEY
In their season opener at Eureka, Mo., Edwardsville lost to Rockwood Lafayette of Ballwin, Mo. 4-0. The Tigers start their season off 0-1, while the Lancers go to 2-0.
GIRLS VOLLEYBALL
CHATHAM GLENWOOD 25-25, TRIAD 23-17: In a tournament being played at Springfield Lutheran, in the group stage, Glenwood swept Triad in the Knights' second match.
Josie Stottler served up seven points and three aces for Triad, while Hayden Neu delivered 10 kills.
The Titans open the season at 1-0.
LASALLE-PERU 25-25-25, TRIAD 25-16-7: In the opening match of the tournament for Triad, the Knights fought to a draw in the first set against LaSalle-Peru before dropping the next two sets and the match.
Strottler served up seven points and an ace for the Knights, while Neu had seven kills, Emma Moore, Adelyn Sievers, and Strottler had a block each, and Heidi Boehring came up with 21 assists.
The Cavaliers start off 1-0, while Triad is now 0-4.
