TROY — Triad’s girls volleyball team improved to 5-4 overall Thursday night, Sept. 3, 2026, defeating Alton High’s Redbirds 25-18, 25-22 in a competitive match in Troy.

Alton dropped to 2-7 overall with the loss.

For the Redbirds, Georgia Butler had six kills, while Alayna McKee added a kill and a block.

Triad returns to action Sept. 8 at Collinsville. Alton hosts Granite City on Sept. 8.
