EDWARDSVILLE - Ben Lovell and Brandon Morris each had a brace (two goals each) as Edwardsville's boys soccer team overcame an early goal and scored six straight times to take a 6-1 win over Collinsville in a Southwestern Conference game played Thursday night, Sept. 10, 2026, at Tiger Stadium.
It was the first time the two school had met since last October in the Class 3A regional final, when the Kahoks scored a goal virtually at the death to eliminate the Tigers 1-0, and advance tot the sectional. Collinsville went on to the sectional final/Round of 16 match before being eliminated.
