Sidney is a Stillwater Senior Living Female Athlete of the Month for Granite City.

Jason said his daughter is a highly competitive golfer who began taking lessons at age 5. He said she has traveled extensively for golf and normally competes in an 18-year-old division during the summer, an experience he said helped her game.

He said Sidney practices six days a week and spends significant time at Goat Range Academy in Carlyle in a game-based learning environment with PGA Coach Don Kueper. He said her game has shown a “night and day difference” over the past two years.

Sidney has also participated in PGA Jr. League and First Tee out of St. Louis, her father said. He said she became the youngest junior coach at age 12 and has played in tournament series that included travel and U.S. Kids Golf events.

Jason said Sidney’s goals include playing Division I golf.
