In the results of games played on Monday, Centralia defeated Trenton Wesclin 8-0, Waterloo Gibault Catholic took a 4-0 win over Breese Central, and Highland claimed a win over Charleston 8-0.
GIRLS FIELD HOCKEY
In a game played in Ballwin, Mo., in west St. Louis County, Rockwood Lafayette defeated Edwardsville 6-0.
GIRLS TENNIS
ALTON 9, EAST ST. LOUIS 0
Alton High defeated East St. Louis 9-0 on Monday in Alton. The Redbirds are 3-1 overall and 1-1 in conference. Alton plays at home against Roxana on Wednesday.
In the only match scheduled on Monday, Civic Memorial took a 7-2 win at Granite City.

CARLINVILLE 25-24-26, RAYMOND-LINCOLNWOOD 23-26-15
Carlinville defeated Raymond-Lincolnwood 25-23, 24-26, 25-15 in a match on Monday night.

In the matches that were played on Monday evening, Nashville swept Belleville Althoff Catholic 25-16, 25-18; Waterloo Gibault Catholic won in three sets over Granite City 20-25, 25-9, 25-12; Trenton Wesclin took a tight three-set match over Freeburg 30-32, 25-20, 25-21; and Greenville defeated Highland 2-0.

JV PANTHERS FOOTBALL FALLS TO CM
Jersey Community High School JV Football traveled to Civic Memorial to take on the Eagles, falling short 27-13. The Panthers found the end zone twice, with Grayson Mangara breaking loose for a long rushing touchdown and Logan Strebel hauling in a long touchdown pass from Blake Jones. The Panthers defense came up with several key interceptions, courtesy of Joey Wegierski and Carson Johnson.
JERSEY VOLLEYBALL
JCHS F/JV/V Volleyball hosted Southwestern on Monday. The Freshman Panthers picked up a 2-set victory over the Birds, winning 21-14 and 21-16. The JV squad showcased incredible resilience after falling behind early in the first set, battling back to take the second set 25-15 and edge out a 15-12 victory in the deciding third set for the win. The Varsity won the first set, 26-24. The Panthers fought hard, but Southwestern claimed the next two sets, 25-22 and 25-20, to take the match.
JCMS BASEBALL FINISHES REGULAR SEASON STRONG
JCMS Baseball wrapped up the regular season in exciting fashion, defeating Southwestern 15-10. The Panthers put together a 13-hit attack, led by Arthur Fallin, who collected 3 hits, including 2 doubles and a triple, while driving in 4 runs. Grayson Smith and Kellen Woolsey added 2 hits each, and Layne Goetten drove in 4 runs. Congratulations to the Panthers on an incredible accomplishment as they finish their first year in the MEAC Conference as MEAC Conference Champions. The Panthers close out the regular season with an impressive 10-3 overall record.
