For her dedication, Audrey Lavelle is a Student of the Month for Father McGivney Catholic High School.

Lavelle, a senior, has served as a House Leader since her sophomore year. She is also the House Activities Captain. In these roles, she represents and advocates for her classmates.

She has served as the National Honor Society Decorations Committee Head for two years, as well as the Homecoming and Prom Committee Chairperson. She plays varsity golf and currently serves as the team captain.

Lavelle has also held leadership roles with the Glennon Guild Junior Board. She enjoys participating in the Yearbook Club and Senior Council.

It’s difficult to balance school and all of these extracurriculars, but Lavelle does so gracefully. She has a part-time job and was recently named Father McGivney’s marketing intern. She loves sports photography and has been asked in recent months to take photos at SIUE games and other events.

In her free time, she loves to read and recently started a book club with her friends. Lavelle also plays in Junior PGA tournaments and enjoys golfing outings with her dad. She has also accumulated nearly 500 community service hours in her four years of high school, an impressive feat.

She knows exactly what she wants to do after high school. She has her eye on two impressive universities and hopes to study abroad. Her loved ones and teachers know she absolutely has what it takes to succeed.

“After graduation, I will be attending college, not sure where though, and studying sports media,” she shared. “I am an overall happy person who will help where I can. I love traveling, whether it be to Italy or Chicago. I love listening to music — Tate McRae and Zach Bryan are my favorite singers. I really enjoy meeting or just talking with new people.”

Congratulations to Audrey for this recognition by Father McGivney Catholic High School!
