Baby Kenna Holds 10th Place As Voting Deadline Nears
The Godfrey infant is competing against babies nationwide, with her mother asking neighbors to lend their votes before the top 10 cutoff on Sept. 24.
GODFREY — Three-month-old Kenna of Godfrey is in 10th place in her group in the Baby of the Year competition, and her family is seeking community support before voting for the top 10 closes Thursday, Sept. 24, 2026.
The competition features babies from across the country, with public voting determining who advances to the next stage. Jordan Croft shared Kenna’s entry and asked the Godfrey community to help her advance.
Kenna is the youngest of four children. Her older siblings are Crew, 4, and 19-month-old twins Kai and Koah.
Jordan Croft, her mother, said Kenna was born five weeks premature. Jordan said Kenna loves smiling and snuggling with her parents. Her favorite activities include tummy time on her mother’s chest with a high-contrast toy on display and watching her older brothers play.
Asked what the family would do with $25,000, the family said the money would help them move from their small townhome.
