Plummer Ranks Among Top Lawmakers On IMA Legislator Report Card
The Edwardsville Republican was recognized for votes on issues affecting manufacturers and Illinois’ business climate.
EDWARDSVILLE— With a consistent voting record supporting Illinois manufacturers and the state’s business community, State Senator Jason Plummer (R-Edwardsville) earned a 90 percent rating on the Illinois Manufacturers’ Association’s (IMA) 2025-2026 Legislator Report Card, ranking him among the top lawmakers in the Senate.
“Manufacturers are creating jobs, investing in our communities and helping drive our economy, but too often they are forced to deal with higher costs, unnecessary regulations and mandates that make it harder to compete with our neighbors,” said Senator Plummer. “I’m proud to be a voice for the employers and job creators who keep Illinois moving, and I’ll continue fighting to make this a state where businesses have the opportunity to grow and succeed.”

The IMA Legislator Report Card examines lawmakers’ votes on key issues affecting Illinois’ manufacturing economy and broader business climate. Among the issues considered are tax policy, workplace regulations, environmental mandates, energy costs and other policies that can influence businesses’ decisions to invest, expand and create jobs in Illinois.
