BOYS SOCCER
EAST ALTON-WOOD RIVER 2, GREENVILLE 1
The East Alton-Wood River High boys soccer squad won 2-1 over Greenville on Monday night. Oilers' goal scorers were Jordyn Spiller and Westin Hatch. Hatch scored with 3 minutes remaining to break the 1-1 tie.
OTHER MATCHES
In the four results from the matches played on Monday, Trenton Wesclin won over Valmeyer 10-1, Mascoutah defeated Lebanon 7-1, Granite City won its first game since having to forfeit five wins for accidentally using an ineligible player, defeating Civic Memorial 5-2, and Highland and Columbia played to a 0-0 draw.
GIRLS FLAG FOOTBALL
In the results from games on Monday, Edwardsville finished the regular season undefeated with a 19-0 win over Mascoutah, and East St. Louis won over Belleville East 42-7. In a result from Saturday, Peoria Central got past Belleville West 6-2.
GIRLS FIELD HOCKEY
In a result from Monday in a game played in south St. Louis County, Oakville shut out Edwardsville 1-0.
GIRLS TENNIS
On Monday, in a match held at Granite City's Tennis Center, the host Warriors won over Metro-East Lutheran 6-3.
GIRLS VOLLEYBALL
CARLINVILLE 25-23-25, MARQUETTE CATHOLIC 19-25-20: Carlinville topped Marquette Catholic on Monday night.

FATHER MCGIVNEY CATHOLIC 25-25, MARISSA-COULTERVILLE 12-17: McGivney jumped out to an early lead and never looked back in taking a sweep over Marissa-Coulterville at the Griffins Lair.
Stella Garrett served up 11 points and two aces to help the Griffins, while both Elli Moody and Elli Williams had four kills each, Moody also had four blocks, and Harper Dettmer came up with seven assists.
McGivney is now 15-11, while the Meteors go to 10-9.

In other matches played on Monday, Collinsville swept Cahokia 25-6, 25-12, Belleville West took a tight three-set win over Belleville Althoff Catholic 22-25, 25-15, 25-22, and Waterloo Gibault Catholic defeated New Athens 25-11, 22-25, 25-22.
