The Marching Tigers placed second at the River City Showcase at Ft. Zumwalt North on Oct. 10 and at the Illinois Marching Band Championships at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign on Oct. 17.

“We’ve had a great season, and we’re proud of these awards,” said drum major Lyla Hahn. “It’s exciting to see all of the hard work everyone has put into the season come together in our performances.”

The band is scheduled to perform at 5:45 p.m. Oct. 23 at The Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis for the super regional championship.
