Adult Male Dies After Shooting Incident
After activation of gunfire detection and emergency calls, officers arrive to find two victims with gunshot wounds, one deceased after hospital transport.
ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. — Detectives from the St. Louis County Police Department Bureau of Crimes Against Persons are investigating a homicide that occurred Thursday evening, Dec. 18, 2025, in the 1500 block of Marbella Drive, resulting in the death of an adult male.
At 8:17 p.m. on Dec. 18, 2025, officers from the St. Louis County Police North County Precinct responded to a ShotSpotter activation and a 911 call reporting a shooting at the location. Upon arrival, officers found an adult male and an adult female suffering from gunshot wounds.

The female victim was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The male victim was also taken to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
The deceased has been identified as Zachariah Miller, 22 years of age, of the 1800 block of Parker Road, St. Louis, MO., 63138.
No suspects are currently in custody, and the investigation remains active. Authorities have not released further details at this time.
