The outage is scheduled from 10 p.m. Wednesday, July 29, 2026, until about 5 a.m. Thursday, July 30, 2026, according to information village officials said they received that morning from Ameren Illinois. The affected area includes residents along West Delmar and several subdivisions along that route.
Affected areas will extend into part of the D’Adrian subdivision, Summerfield subdivision, Arrow Wood subdivision and River Aire Subdivision, and then west of Clifton Terrace and south to neighborhoods along River Road, the village said.
“Ameren has stated that automated calls will be going out to those residents who will be affected by the planned outage,” the village said in its notice.
Village officials said the outage is planned so Ameren can complete emergency repairs to the electrical infrastructure grid.
The village also asked landlords with utilities in their names to share the information with tenants in or adjacent to the affected areas.
“For any questions or concerns, please contact Ameren Illinois at (800) 755-5000,” the notice said.
