Blake Driskill Stands Out Despite Carrollton Girls Loss To West Hancock

BEARDSTOWN - Carrollton dropped a game to West Hancock on Monday, Dec. 29, 2025, in the Beardstown Tournament, 72-40, but Blake Driskill still had a standout overall game with a 16-point outburst.

Hayden Mcmurtie added 9 points, and Chloe McAdams had 6 points for the Hawks. Hadley Lake had 4 points, Brookelyn Eilerman tossed in 3 points, and Kenna Brannan had 2 points against West Hancock.

Maci Haas led West Hancock scorers with 22 points.

Carrollton, 12-3 overall, plays at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2025, against Illini Bluffs.

The Hawks next return to action after the Beardstown Tournament on Jan. 3, 2025, at home against Southwestern at 1 p.m. Southwestern is 9-4 overall on the season, so that is expected to be a solid game against the Piasa Birds.
