Bost Announces $1 Million Grant For Robinson Water Treatment Plant
The federal grant will support a new treatment plant and campus, along with upgrades to the commission’s water treatment system.
WASHINGTON, D.C. - U.S. Representative Mike Bost (IL-12) today announced that the Environmental Protection Agency has awarded a $1 million federal grant for the Robinson Palestine Water Commission to construct a new water treatment plant and campus.
“Reliable access to clean, safe drinking water is something every Southern Illinoisan should be able to count on,” said Bost. “This investment will make long-overdue upgrades to an aging water infrastructure that many local families depend upon for the water they use every day."

The grant will help the Robinson Palestine Water Commission modernize its water treatment system, including a new treatment plan, a new administration building, and a storage building.
