ALTON - Randy, known from the television series "Trailer Park Boys," is bringing a unique event called Randy’s Cheeseburger Picnic to Peoria on Oct. 27 and Carbondale on Oct. 30, 2025. The gatherings promise a blend of food, music, games, and lighthearted entertainment, reflecting the spirit of the show and its fans.

Randy recently appeared on Riverbender.com's "Our Daily Show!" with host C.J. Nasello.
Randy described the event as “a night of a little bit of silliness, which is what the world needs,” and said attendees can expect “some jokes and we sing some songs, have some contests and play some games, it is short of like a variety show.” He expressed hope that many fans, some even dressed as characters like Julian, Ricky, or Bubbles, would come out to join the festivities.
During an interview with Nasello, Randy shared insights about his love for cheeseburgers, emphasizing a preference for thinner “Smash Burgers” over thicker patties. “I like just eating a cheeseburger. I like the Smash Burgers, but I like a thinner burger than the big, thick one. I would rather have four thin ones than one large big one,” he said. He also mentioned his appreciation for a variety of burger joints, from local mom-and-pop shops to national chains like McDonald’s, Burger King, Sonic, and Wendy’s.
Randy also reflected on his relationships with other characters from the show. He praised Bubbles as “still the smartest man in the park” and “the nicest,” noting Bubbles’ advice and generosity. He acknowledged that while he and Ricky sometimes get along, their interactions often require a relaxed atmosphere. “Every once in a while, Ricky and Randy get along.
"We once did a cooking show together," he said of his co-star. "We would get pretty high on the show. Ricky is a very good farmer. Sometimes we get along but we almost have to be high."
Addressing the dynamics within their community of Sunnyvale, Randy remarked, “Everybody has somebody around they don’t like. Sunnyvale is a community and as a manager in the park we have to take everyone for what they are. It altogether makes a community and we try to be happy.”
Regarding the filming of the upcoming 13th season of "Trailer Park Boys," Randy commented on the challenges posed by the presence of the film crew. “Those camera guys stick cameras where don’t belong - there’s going to be a season 13, stuff should not be seen, but it seems like people end up liking it,” he said. He also noted how the ubiquity of cameras has changed the world, saying, “Everyone has a camera now.”
