ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MO. — St. Louis County police are investigating a homicide that occurred Saturday night, Dec. 20, 2025, in the 6600 block of South Lindbergh Boulevard, resulting in the death of a 47-year-old man.

Officers from the St. Louis County Police Affton Southwest Precinct responded at 9:33 p.m. Dec. 20, 2025, to a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found the victim, identified as Jason Manes of Imperial, Mo., deceased at the scene.

Preliminary findings indicate that Manes and an adult female were involved in an altercation when the shooting occurred.

The female person of interest was taken into custody and interviewed by detectives from the Bureau of Crimes Against Persons.

The investigation remains active, and authorities say details may change as more information becomes available. Officials urge anyone with information to contact the St. Louis County Police Department at 636-529-8210.
