Monday starts warm and muggy with partly sunny skies and temperatures in the mid-70s. It already feels like the low 80s early, so stepping outside this morning may feel more like late afternoon. A light southeast breeze shifts southerly as the day gets going.

By afternoon, sunshine takes over and the heat builds fast. Look for a high near 94 with mostly sunny skies, a south wind around 10 mph and gusts up to 25 mph. Rain chances stay near zero, but the heat will be the bigger story. It could feel as hot as 104 during the peak of the day, so this is a good time to take breaks and stay hydrated if you have plans outside.
