JCHS Student Taylor Woodring Celebrated By Jersey County Sheriff’s Office

The Jersey County Sheriff’s Office honored the Jersey Community High School graduate for her achievements as she prepares to begin studying dietetics and nutrition at SIUE this fall.

JERSEY - The Jersey County Sheriff’s Office has recognized Taylor Woodring as a recipient of the Illinois Sheriffs’ Association Scholarship, honoring a Jersey Community High School graduate who plans to attend Southern Illinois University Edwardsville this fall to study dietetics and nutrition.

Woodring has also been an active girls' cross-country and indoor and outdoor track-and-field athlete at the school.

The Jersey Sheriff’s office said Woodring said she earned “numerous honors and awards” during her time at Jersey Community High School and is a member of the National Honor Society.

"The Jersey County Sheriff’s Office is proud to recognize Taylor Woodring as a recipient of the Illinois Sheriffs’ Association Scholarship," the sheriff's office said in a statement.

The office also praised Woodring’s accomplishments and future goals.

“We are proud of Taylor’s hard work, dedication, and commitment to making a difference,” the sheriff's office said. “Please join us in congratulating her and wishing her continued success as she works toward a future of helping others live healthier lives!”
