GODFREY – Whether they're planning for college after high school, returning to finish a degree, or preparing for a new career, prospective students can explore their options during Lewis and Clark Community College's Fall 2026 Discover Day, from 2-4 p.m., Monday, Oct. 12, in The Commons.
The free open house event is designed to help future students connect their interests and goals with academic programs, support services and career pathways available at Lewis and Clark.

"Choosing a college or career path is a big decision, and Discover Day gives students and families the chance to see what's possible," said Vice President of Enrollment and Student Success Cherise Jackson. "Visitors can explore programs, ask questions, meet faculty and staff, and learn about the resources available to help them succeed."
Guests will have the opportunity to meet with advisors, enrollment specialists, faculty members, financial aid representatives and student support staff. Information will be available on more than 30 degree and certificate programs, including healthcare, technology, business, skilled trades and more.
For high school students, Discover Day offers a chance to explore affordable transfer pathways that can significantly reduce the cost of earning a bachelor's degree. Attendees can learn about transfer agreements, campus life, scholarships and opportunities to get involved outside the classroom.
Adult learners and career changers can explore flexible options designed to fit busy schedules, including evening classes, online courses and workforce training programs that help students gain new skills and credentials quickly.
Financial aid experts will also be available to answer questions about completing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), scholarships, grants and other funding opportunities. The college's 2027-28 scholarship application opens Oct. 1, offering access to more than 200 scholarship opportunities, including several full-tuition awards.
Discover Day is intentionally scheduled on a day when many local K-12 districts are not in session, making it easier for students and families to visit campus together.
Throughout the event, attendees can tour campus, learn about student resources and get a firsthand look at the academic and support services available to Trailblazers.
Discover Day is free and open to anyone interested in learning more about Lewis and Clark Community College.
