Longstreet Scores Four Times As Marquette Catholic's Football Squad Rolls Past Principia
Don’Tay Longstreet powered a dominant Marquette Catholic performance with four touchdowns as the Explorers controlled the ground game in a decisive Friday night win.
ALTON - Marquette Catholic dominated Principia 62-22 on Friday, Sept. 4, 2026, at Public School Stadium in Alton, using four touchdowns from Don’Tay Longstreet and 271 rushing yards to control the football contest.
Longstreet scored three rushing touchdowns and added a receiving touchdown on a 38-yard pass from Toby Eberlin. He finished with 108 yards on eight carries to lead Marquette Catholic’s rushing attack.

Eberlin added two rushing touchdowns on runs of 10 yards and 1 yard. Jhordyn Croft, Ethan McLeod and Brody McLeod each scored rushing touchdowns.
Croft had 66 yards on 12 carries, and Ethan McLeod added 66 yards on six carries. Eberlin finished with 15 rushing yards on seven carries, DeMialo Jones had 14 yards on two carries, and Brody McLeod had 1 yard on one carry.
Marquette Catholic also had 91 passing yards. Eberlin completed a 38-yard touchdown pass to Longstreet, and Kavon Lacey had 53 passing yards.
Joe Stephan made 8 of 9 point-after attempts for Marquette Catholic.
